Bajrangi Bhaijaan Surpasses PK’s First Week Collection

First thing first – Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan broke the record of first week collection of Aamir Khan’s PK. We guess that’s why they call Salman Khan the biggest star in India. Without a good script, his movies always earned 150+ crores at the box office (domestic+international) and now with a good script, his movie re-wrote the Indian box office history. Not a single star in India, be it SRK, Aamir, Akshay or Hrithik, can make movie hit without good director and story-line. But Salman Khan’s fans don’t give any damn to story, they just love Sallu Bhai.

As per the box office reports, the film amassed 184.62 crores (Fri- 27.25 cr, Sat- 36.60 cr, Sun- 38.75 cr, Mon- 27.05 cr, Tue- 21.40 cr, Wed- 18.02 cr, Thu- 15.55 cr.) in the very first week to surpass the record collection of PK’s 183 crores. Like the Telugu movie Bahubali, it remained rock steady during the weekdays to post such a mammoth total. The real moviegoers has rated the movie 4-4.5/5, so the movie will enjoy repetitive footfalls in the the theaters and it might garner 50+ crores in the second weekend. As the next biggie will hit the screens on 31st Jul, the movie has immense chance to become the biggest Indian movie replacing Aamir Khan’s PK.
