Defying all the predictions of Box office pundits, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani is heading towards a mammoth total in the domestic market. The movie was expected to be doomed as it was competing with SRK’s movie Dilwale, but it left its competitor far behind at the domestic box office and came very close in the international market.
As per the box office reports, the movie amassed more than 10 crores (Fri 1.40 cr, Sat 2.35 cr, Sun 2.70 cr, Mon 98 L, Tue 95 L, Wed 77 L, Thu 96 L) in the 4th week to take its total domestic box office collection to 181.01 crores. As the film has one more open week at the box office, it is expected to cross 185 crores in the 5th week and the lifetime collection might be approx 188-190 crores.
