As predicted earlier, the new Hollywood release Star Wars couldn’t deter its marathon at the domestic box office whereas the competitor Dilwale lost screen counts and earning to the Hollywood biggie.
As per the box office reports, the movie amassed about 12.25 crores on second Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 98.40 crores. The growth in the collection on day 8 suggests that the movie is going to have a gargantuan collection in the second weekend. The collection of Bajirao Mastani on day 8 is similar to that of the biggest blockbuster of this year Bajrangi Bhaijaan and it’s possible that the second weekend collection might cross 45 crores. With one more open weekend before 8th Jan, the movie is now heading towards 200 crores.
