The Juggernaut of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani is just unstoppable at the domestic box office even in the third week. The collection of the film in the third week is along the lines of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood like PK, 3 Idiots and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
As per the box office reports, the film garnered about 29 crores in the 3rd week to take its total domestic box office collection to 170.90 crores. Despite the new release Wazir hitting theaters on 8 Jan, the movie has lost a very small number of screens. Its competitors Dilwale and Star Wars have lost large number of screens due to new release Wazir. So, there is a huge chance that the movie will cross 175 crores in the 4th weekend. Also, the opening of the new release Wazir was sluggish, so if Wazir doesn’t pick up on Saturday, Bajirao Mastani has enormous chance to touch even 180 crores. As the next biggie will hit the theaters on 22 Jan, it should post 190-195 crores as the lifetime collection.
