Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani reached another milestone on second Saturday when it hit a century at the domestic box office. Though the movie had about 15% drop in the collection compared to second Friday, the collection remained in double digit that helped it in crossing 100 crores mark. Also, the film is performing far better than its competitor Dilwale which has now lost its momentum at the ticket counters.
As per the box office reports, the movie garnered approx 10.30 crores on second Saturday (day 9) to take its total domestic box office collection to 108.70 crores. As per the data from the online booking portal bookmyshow, the film is expected to earn 12-13 crores on Sunday. The total domestic collection of the film at the end of second week should be 135-140 crores and as the next weekend is also open for this movie, it should easily cross 150 crores figure in the third weekend. Looking at the pace of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani at the box office, it seems that the latter will have greater lifetime domestic collection.
