Failure of Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan turned out a boon to Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho. Although Badhaai Ho had scored the century before Thugs of Hindostan hit the screens, it was expected that Badhaai Ho might not cross 115 crore because of Thugs of Hindostan. But because of negative feedback of TOH, Badhaai Ho managed to score more than 5 crore with a small number of screens.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 5.95 crore in the fourth weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 115.55 crore after 25 days. It will now become the first choice for moviegoers during the weekdays and may cross 125 crore in its lifetime. It will soon join the league of previous blockbusters Raazi and Stree.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figure of the film. He wrote, “#BadhaaiHo sprints again, catching speed over the weekend [on limited screens + shows]… Earlier, it was expected to fold up under ₹ 115 cr, but should now comfortably touch ₹ 125 cr [+/-]… [Week 4] Fri 1.45 cr, Sat 2.05 cr, Sun 2.45 cr.
