Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest family-drama Badhaai Ho is showing no sign of tiredness at the domestic box office even after running successfully for five weeks. On Friday, the film earned more than Aamir Khan’s big budget movie Thugs of Hindostan. Also, the new releases of this week did not affect the collection of Badhaai Ho.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 1.05 crore on sixth Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 129.45 crore after 36 days. The current trend suggests that it will cross 133 crore by the end of the sixth weekend. With the audience still coming back to the theatres, trade experts predict that the film might just cruise past Rs 135 crore or Rs 140 crore mark for its lifetime business.
