Baazaar Has Poor Opening – First Day Box Office Collection

Saif Ali Khan’s latest release Bazaar, which received mixed reviews from critics, has a poor opening on Friday. However, the film fared better than Saif’s recent movies. The film had very low occupancy in the morning, but the evening occupancy in Mumbai and Gujarat regions pushed the collection to above 3 crore.Baazaar Has Poor Opening - First Day Box Office Collection

As per the box office reports, the film earned 3.07 crore on its first Friday. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh, and debutant Rohan Mehra, the film is based on the story of Mumbai’s city life and pushes you into the semi-dark world of its stockbrokers. The movie is not performing well in Delhi/NCR regions and in other small circuits; it has to rely heavily on Mumbai and Gujarat regions for its fate. Bazaar is expected to get tough competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun. So, if Bazaar can surpass 12 crore in its opening weekend, it would be a decent total.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the movie on twitter. “#Baazaar had an extremely poor start in the morning shows, but picked up pace during the course of the day… Has fared much better than the recent Saif Ali Khan starrers… Mumbai circuit is driving the biz… Fri ₹ 3.07 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 3.07 cr
Total: ₹ 3.07
