Marvel’s latest release, Avengers: Infinity War, an American superhero film, has created history in the Indian market on its first day. The film replaced Tiger’s Baaghi 2 from numero uno position to become the biggest opener of 2018 in India. It is also the biggest Hollywood opener of all time in the country. Considering the fact that the film had a limited release, the success of the film is even more phenomenal. As per the box office reports, the film amassed 40.13 crores gross box office collection on its first day. The net box office collection of the film, which released in India on Friday, stand at Rs 31.3 crores. It has surpassed all the predictions of opening figure.

The film has been released on only 2000 screens across the country. Before this Marvel juggernaut, no Hollywood film had even been able to cross the Rs 15 crore mark on the first day.
