Marvel’s superhero film Avengers Infinity War became one of the biggest grosser in the Indian market in just 7 days. The film, that scored more than 95 crores in the first weekend, maintained its pace to cross 150 crores in its first week.As per the box office reports, the film amassed 156.64 crores nett (200.82 crores gross) in its first week. The daily collection of the film in its first week is as follows: Fri 31.30 cr, Sat 30.50 cr, Sun 32.50 cr, Mon 20.52 cr, Tue 20.34 cr, Wed 11.75 cr, Thu 9.73 cr.

The film has set the record for the highest opening weekend in India, beating Padmaavat by a sizeable margin: Infinity War collected Rs 94 crore while the Sanjay Leela Bhansali epic raked in Rs 75 crore in its opening weekend. The film will definitely continue as the first choice of the moviegoers even in the second week. So, the lifetime collection of the film in Indian market may cross 250 crores nett.
