Hollywood biggie Avengers Endgame had a massive collection in its first weekend at the Indian box office. Despite running on about 2800 screens, the film amassed 50+ crore every day. This shows that a well-made film does not need any holiday or a large number of screens to shatter box office records.
As per the box office reports, the film garnered 52.70 crore on first Sunday to take its total Indian box office collection to 157.20 crore after 3 days. The trend during the weekend indicates that the collection will remain steady even during weekdays and the film may go past 250 crore in the very first week. It will definitely cross 400 crore, but 500+ crore may also not be ruled out.

Friday (Day 1): ₹ 53.10 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 51.40 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 52.70 cr
Total: ₹ 157.20 cr
According to Deadline, the film has collected a whopping $ 26.7 million gross in India, the best for a Hollywood film at the domestic box office. Earlier, Avengers: Infinity War had collected Rs 120.90 crore gross in its first three days.
