A very pathetic advertisement posted by Meat and Livestock Australia shows lord Ganesha eating lamb. He is is joined by Jesus, Moses, Zeus, Buddha and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, at the ‘barbecue’ in the new spring ad by Meat and Livestock Australia. The advert has sparked outrage among the Indian and Hindu communities, who have condemned the use of Ganesha to promote meat sales. Well-known organisation Hindu Council of Australia called the ad ‘crude and deplorable’, while hundreds of comments on the MLA’s Facebook page called for the advert to be removed.
