An Action Hero Box Office Collection (Day-wise Net Earnings in India)

Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest release, “An Action Hero,” had a disastrous opening at the Indian box office on Friday. Like some of his latest movies, “An Action Hero” also did not find any takers at the ticket windows. The film’s fate has already been sealed due to such a low opening. The only question remains whether the movie will cross the double-digit figure (10 cr) in the domestic market. Pre-covid time, Ayushmann Khurrana’s films always pulled moviegoers to theaters, and he had a very high success rate. But his movies find no takers in the post-covid time. Maybe the audience wants to watch only good-content films or films with special effects in the theater. If you look at the box office report of 2022, only two Bollywood movies (Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2) are clean hits, and all other movies failed to recover the investment. 2022 remained the worst year for almost all big Bollywood actors, esp. Ayushmann Khurrana and Akshay Kumar. Per our estimates, the film should collect 5-6 crores in its first weekend and 8-10 crores in its lifetime.

“An Action Hero” is a Bollywood action comedy thriller film directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. The film stars Ayushmann Khurana and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles. In the movie, Akshay Kumar has a cameo appearance, whereas Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi are in two item songs. It was released in theatres on 2 December 2022 worldwide.
