As expected, Zareen Khan’s Aksar 2 had one of the worst openings of the year. Even the first part was a big flop, so there was a little chance for the second part to perform at the box office. Also, the film does not feature any big name. The first part had a couple of hit songs, but this new film is also lagging in that aspect.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 1.44 crores on its opening day. The word of mouth for the movie is extremely poor, so it is going to have a hard time in coming days. Despite having adult contents, the film was not able to bring its target audiences to the theaters.

The film is mainly for single screen audiences, but it seems that they decided to give the film a miss. According to the current trend at the ticket counters, the first-weekend collection should be 5-6 crores.
