Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer ABCD 2 finally entered the elite club of 100 crores after third weekend. Though the first week collection was exceptional, the film couldn’t maintain the same momentum to hit the century figure as quickly as expected. This is the usual phenomenon that happens to all youth oriented movies. These movies just lose the steam second week onwards after humongous opening.
As per the box office reports, the movie collected 1.01 crores on Friday, 1.63 crores on Saturday, and 2.23 crores on Sunday to take its total domestic box office collection to 101.91 crores after 17 days. In this long run, ABCD2 became the second film of the year to enter the coveted club of 100 crores. The other film that reached 100 crores is blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
