ABCD 2 has been doing extraordinary business since its opening day and broke a couple of box office records held by the movies released so far in 2015. Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer dance flick kept its momentum intact during the weekdays and became the highest first week grosser of the year which was earlier held by blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
As per the box office reports, the movie collected 4.93 crores on first Thursday to take its total domestic box office collections to 71.78 crores. As the movie is youth oriented, it might witness good footfalls during second weekend. Also, DDD and HAK are not able to pose any competition to this movie, so the second weekend business might be along the lines of collections of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. If it could replicate the earnings of TWMR in the coming days, it would definitely reach closer to 150 crores.
