Despite receiving a positive response from moviegoers, Akshay Kumar’s all latest movies failed to cross 150 crore mark at the domestic box office. But, it seems that his wait to join 150 crore club will be over as 2.0 (Hindi) will cross that magic number in the second weekend.
As per the box office reports, 2.0 (Hindi) earned 7.75 crore on Thursday to take its total domestic box office collection to 139.75 crore after 8 days. Although it has lost about 2000 screens to the new release Kedarnath, the count of 3D shows is still intact. In fact, 2D shows are responsible for the poor collection, otherwise, it would have crossed 160 crore in its first week. Despite facing competition at the ticket windows, 2.0 should remain the first choice for moviegoers as Kedarnath has a very limited audience.
