Vikram Bhatt’s horror flick 1921 could not do any magic at the box office and the collection remained below 2 crores on all three days of the opening weekend. Due to many releases, the film got a small number of screens and then failed to bring moviegoers to the theatres. Although the budget of the film is less than 10 crores, it would be an astonishing achievement if the film surpasses 10 crores at the box office.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 6.45 crores in the first weekend. The daily collection of the film in its first week is as follows: Fri 1.56 cr, Sat 2.09 cr, Sun 2.80 cr.

The film successfully beat its competitors, Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi and Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz, at the box office. 1921 stars Karan Kundra and Zareen Khan in the lead roles. Directed by Vikran Bhatt, 1921 is the fourth film in the franchise. The earning during weekdays might fall below 1 crore and hence the lifetime collection will be less than the expected figure.
